New Country Rehab – CD LAUNCH!!! (Friday, Jan. 14 at the Elmo)

New Country Rehab’s debut album is coming out officially on Tuesday, January 11th and our big launch concert in Toronto is Friday, January 14th at the El Mocambo.

Their first record has 10 cuts on it, recorded with Chris Stringer, including the originals “Angel of Death” and “Cameo”, among others,  and covers of “State Trooper” and “Ramblin’ Man”.  It’s recorded live in the studio and everyone who’s heard it has been stoked by the sound and energy of the record.

At the Elmo show, they have Simone Schmidt and Chris Coole kicking things off at 9:30 followed by Corin Raymond and the Sundowners at 10:20.  NCR will hit the stage for a big, full-on assault on your minds and senses at 11:15, so come one down, buckle up and thrill to the sounds of great live music!!!

They’re also playing this month at Jimmy Jazz (Guelph), London Music Club (London, ON), Blacksheep Inn (Wakefield, QC), Dead of Winter Festival (Halifax), Casa Del Popolo (Montreal) and the Mansion (Kingston).  Corin Raymond joins the group for the Wakefield, Montreal and Kingston shows.

New Country Rehab email newsletter – December 2010

We only have a couple of shows this month, but we’re gearing up for our CD release concert on January 14th, 2011!!!  It’ll be at the El Mocambo and we have awesome opening acts:  Simone Schmidt and Chris Coole as well as Corin Raymond and the Sundowners.  I’ll keep you all posted!

This week, we play the Cameron on Thursday, then follow that up with a show at Castro’s in the beaches.  We’ll be playing as the original trio so it will be a throwback to our beginnings.  Ben will be back soon though…we miss him!
